WITI welcomes Rose Horowitz to the WITI family. Rose is a Pulitzer-nominated journalist, content creator, and social media expert. She is founder of #WomenToFollow, which became a global hashtag trend that reached 12 million people in its first two weeks. She has created a new #WomenToFollow livestream show to amplify women's voices on social media.

The show is broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, and her YouTube channel. She is also a #TwitterSpaces host and guest speaker.

While working for a business newspaper, Rose wrote a three-month investigative series that was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She has published articles in The New York Times, Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, and many other publications.

As part of digital innovator and professor Sree Sreenivan's Digimentors start-up company, Rose produced nearly 300 episodes of a global Covid livestream show. She also helped conceive and produce @ShesOnCall, a medical show hosted by two women surgeons.

WITI invites you to join Rose Horowitz on Friday, March 11 at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT / 6 pm GMT for a special #WomenToFollow episode. She will be talking Women, Gender Equality and War in Ukraine with Olga Lautman, co-host of the "KremlinFile" podcast who is based in New York and Monique Camarra, also co-host of "KremlinFile" who is based in Italy.

Lautman is also a senior fellow at the Center for European Analysis; Camarra is a lecturer, University of Siena.
