Alam Mo is the founder and CEO of Silicon Valley Nest, a Bay area technology startup accelerator since 2010. His primary focus is to bring technology innovation into the public health sector. He has helped accelerate more than 10 successful startups, including an Addiction Recovery startup and a Chronic Care Management startup.

Prior to founding Silicon Valley Nest, Mr. Mo was involved in a research project funded by RockwellCollins as a data scientist involving simulation and modeling of thermal behavior in avionics and military radio. He also worked as a software engineer for semiconductor designing and testing for Intel. In 1994, after graduating as an Electrical Engineer from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Mo started his career as a healthcare technology solution provider in a local public health company. He earned his B.S. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh; and his M.S. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University. The author of numerous technical articles, Mr. Mo also holds multiple US patents.
