Julie Reed, Vice President, Infrastructure Service Management, has been in the Information Technology field for over 30 years. She started at The Harford in 2006 and has held several leadership positions in IT. Julie is currently leading the End User Services, Collaboration Technology, and Service Management organization in Infrastructure Services. Major areas of focus that she is looking to mature are increased stability of IT technology and applications, maturing The Hartford to a new age collaboration, and end-user services technology and workflow capability.
Recently Julie was featured in a Women in Technology article at The Hartford. Everyday Leadership and Stepping Up in a Time of Crisis is about how female leaders in tech at The Hartford inspire excellence from their teams through empathy, flexibility, encouragement, and positivity every day and especially during challenging times.
Vallie Joseph, Process Analyst, joined The Hartford in 2018 through its Early Career Leadership Development Program (ECLDP), Tech track. The three-year rotational program exposes recent graduates to multiple departments and job roles within the company. ECLDP participants learn a broader understanding of the Hartford business, gain new skills, and have the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice.
Vallie graduated from Marist College with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and has rotated through various technical roles since joining The Hartford.
