What is the most common problem of all the people in the world today? Depending on the type of work, as well as on the age of the person, stress has different manifestations. However, it is a super relevant problem, and this cannot be ignored. According to statistics, more than 50 percent of residents of a number of countries such as Greece, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Iran, Turkey, Venezuela and America experience stress daily. Today it has become an integral part of our lives, and therefore, everyone should know the methods that will help to cope with stress in a variety of situations.

How to Fight with Stress and Do You Need to Do It?

Stress is perhaps the most unpleasant condition. Under the influence of such a state, a person loses the ability to perceive the situation adequately, and therefore loses the ability to solve it. Probably, every person who is in one way or another exposed to a stressful state should read the book "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie. This book does not have an ideal recipe for how to stop worrying. It contains stories of different people from around the world. Their stories are about how life situations led them to a state of constant anxiety, as well as how these people found a way out.

It is also important to consider the history of the writing of the book. The author says in his epilogue that the reason for writing the book was the absolute lack of enlightenment of people in such a topic as stress. But as we already know today, anxiety can be one of the root causes of a variety of diseases, from minor ailments to cancer or similar serious and fatal diseases. On this basis, it is worth taking this problem seriously and trying to solve it.

Fortunately, today this topic is publicly available and sufficiently studied. Of course, there is still room for development, because not all aspects of stress and its effects on the human body have been well researched. But, based on the information already available, there are 6 things that will help a person understand oneself and overcome stress.

1. Establish the Cause of Such State
The first and most important step is to recognize the cause. After all, it's not wise to deal with the consequences without knowing the root cause. It's like treating a headache with painkillers, although the cause is actually high arterial blood pressure. It's quite difficult to make an effort on yourself and try to study your problem when the body refuses to listen, and the head breaks off from experiences. But, this is a necessary step. Use the following tips to calm panic and begin to learn your problem.

- Close your eyes and do a couple of breathing exercises. Inhale and exhale slowly. This will help calm the trembling in the body and fast heartbeat.
- Make a cup of warm herbal tea or take a glass of water. Drink slowly. It will be best if you are in a quiet room or in the fresh air. This will help restore internal balance and tackle the problem.
- Ask yourself what caused your condition. Go through the different options for the reasons in your head, or write down the possible causes on a piece of paper. Are you worried about a mistake at work? Or are you disturbed by an extraneous unpleasant opinion about you? Having determined the reason, you will learn what to build on in order to solve the problem.

2. Analyze The Current Condition
This step is probably the most difficult, but the most necessary. In order to get rid of stress, you need to understand what you can do for this. For example, you have a small auto accident. Such a situation is able to cause stress for everyone. But, after it happens, you need to move on and look for ways out and possible options. What actions will help to deal with this? The first thing you do is call the police, right? Then, imagine in your head the possible outcomes.

1) You will pay a fine and write a check for the repair of the machine.
2) Your driver's license will be taken away for a period of time.

The worst option is to lose your driver's license? Then disassemble it further. Try to get used to it. Will you lose the ability to move without a driver's license? No, because there is always public transport. In addition, there are friends. They will be able to pick you up sometimes.

Having analyzed the worst scenario and gotten used to it, it will be easier for you to hear the real outcome. In addition, if the police stop only at a fine, then you will even be glad to hear such a verdict. A person can control his or her own subconscious. Asking oneself leading questions, and analyzing possible outcomes of the situation, we already get used to the worst outcome in advance. And when this outcome is not justified, instead of stress, a feeling of relief appears inside.

3. Plan Your Time
More often, the main cause of stress is an insufficient amount of time. When a person doesn't have time to cope with the necessary things, he/she subconsciously tries to accelerate. However, for each deed, a certain time is needed, and trying to squeeze this time is equivalent to trying to squeeze a stone. And then, the internal balance of a person crumbles, like the stone under the press. In order to avoid this, make your plans according to your real strengths and the necessary time for their implementation. It is better to assign fewer tasks and cope earlier than the set time than in trying to manage everything.

4. Disassemble Your Permissible Boundaries
One of the most popular problems in our society depends on strangers' opinions. Socialization puts such pressure on people that every person who is at least somehow different from the accepted "norm" is subjected to pressure. This jeopardizes the possibility of manifestation of one's inner world. And when a person cannot show his or her own true self and is forced to keep everything inside, he/she literally lives in stress. Learn your own needs and how to uphold them by competently building personal boundaries.

5. Get to Know Yourself
People spend so much time studying the people around that they completely forget about studying themselves. Get to know yourself better, and finally meet the person who is closest to you. After all, you are the only person who is always near to you, and without recognizing him/her you cannot live a full life.

6. Avoid an Unhealthy "Cure" For Stress
If conducting a survey among people who have experienced stress, then, perhaps, each of them will answer that they resorted to an unhealthy "treatment," like smoking, overeating, or other similar things. Look at the list of "cures" that negatively affects not only the body as a whole but also the stress state itself.

Summarizing
Stress is a condition that prevents everyone from enjoying life. Unfortunately, it is impossible to completely avoid it. However, having acquired inner harmony, it is possible to reduce its effect on the body. Get to know yourself, set your boundaries and don't panic!
