Girl Scouts Learn Road Safety

Road safety is part of GEICO's DNA. It means more than just insurance protection; it also means providing the training, tools, and resources to promote road safety for future drivers. This past summer, GEICO's DASHboard road safety program partnered with the Girl Scout council of the nation's capital for a series of sessions designed to educate, inspire, and empower 9th- and 10th-grade Girl Scouts in the D.C. area by teaching them the basics of car maintenance, vehicle safety, safe driving, and more. And in the spirit of paying it forward, participants also received a package of safe-driving materials to share with their families. As the Girl Scout motto famously reminds us: be prepared.
