Leadership Best Practices for Female Executives Research

I am a doctoral candidate in the Education - Organizational Leadership program at Pepperdine University conducting research for my dissertation. The topic of my dissertation is Leadership Best Practices for Female Executives in the Technology Industry. The purpose of this study is to determine the best-practices that female executives employ to make them successful in leading in the IT industry. I would like to invite members of WITI to voluntarily participate in my study.

Specifically, I am looking for female executives who meet the following criteria:

  • Obtained at least a Master’s degree with training and/or expertise in the IT industry


  • Possessed a basic understanding of the ideologies and culture of the IT industry


  • Held an executive level position (director and above) in the IT industry for a minimum of 2 years.


  • The participants’ identities (names and companies) will be kept confidential. I would like to compile a list of about 10-20 female executives to participate in the research study and start conducting interviews this month. After I receive a list of volunteers from you I will contact the participants and schedule an interview.
