WITI’s Virtual Mix and Mingle are designed for tech-savvy professionals whose values align with WITI’s Code of Ethics to network with each other, forge connections and discover the latest global tech trends. We will be talking about everything from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and anything that's top of mind in addition to supporting one another through the resources available.
During this event, we will do a brief overview of all the virtual programs available to you and then enter into speed networking round, which will be available in Spanish and English so you can continue to build your network and find creative solutions.
WITI’s ecosystem includes over 60 networks, 300 partners, and thousands of members around the globe. WITI hosts over 1000 virtual events that include: Speed Networking, Speed Mentoring, Webinars, Coaching Circles, and more, all designed to support your growth.

¡Hola! Hoy venimos a hacerte una invitación muy especial para que seas parte de la primera red global enfocada en tecnologÃa: WITI. Acompáñanos para este primer evento de networking virtual, donde podrás conocer y conectarte con profesionales de todo el mundo comprometidos con la inclusión y el sentido de cooperación. ¡Ven y descubre todo lo que WITI puede hacer por tÃ!
En este evento, haremos una breve introducción sobre todos los programas virtuales con los que cuenta WITI, y haremos varias rondas de networking para que puedas expandir tu red.
Los eventos de Mix & Mingle están diseñados para profesionales cuyos valores correspondan con el Código de Ética profesional de WITI, bajo el cual se busca forjar una red global de cooperación y crear una espacio seguro para discutir las últimas tendencias globales en diversos temas. Tenemos un especial énfasis en el sector de la TecnologÃa, por lo que podrás aprender desde STEM, AI, Ciberseguridad, Agroindustrial, Fintech, ActuarÃa o cualquier otro tema que pueda resultar de interés para la comunidad. No importa si actualmente no te desempeñas en estos campos, pues nuestro interés principal es el de crear una red de apoyo haciendo uso de las herramientas dispuestas por WITI.

Valentina Quiroga Fonseca is a scientist from Colombia, currently exploring opportunities to connect industry with academia and gender equality. Valentina became familiar with WITI during her fellowship at Solarea Bio, a microbiome Boston-based biotech startup focused on metabolic diseases. Being constantly on the lookout for allies committed to supporting and empowering girls and women to reach their highest potential, and inspired by the stories and journeys of several female leaders in her orbit, she joined WITI and decided to launch the WITI Colombia Chapter.
Valentina graduated with two bachelor degrees in Physics and Geosciences with a minor in German Language and Culture from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. For years, Valentina’s leadership service has focused on empowerment of women in STEM through public speaking for Fundación Mujeres por Colombia, Junior Achievement of Northern New England,, Rotary Club Colombia, WEST (Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology) and Women org, among other organizations.
Valentina Quiroga Fonseca es FÃsica y GeocientÃfica egresada y becaria del programa Quiero Estudiar de la Universidad de los Andes, con opción en Lengua y Cultura Alemana. Actualmente, se encuentra explorando oportunidades de unir academia e industria desde una perspectiva de género. Valentina conoció a WITI durante su estancia de investigación en Solarea Bio, un startup de biotecnologÃa en Boston MA, USA. Procurando establecer una red global de aliadas y aliados comprometidos por la equidad de género y la inclusión; ella se unión a WITI y decidió fundar el capÃtulo de WITI Colombia.
Durante años, su activismo y liderazgo se han enfocado en inspirar y acompañar el camino para que más jóvenes mujeres se involucren en campos STEM. Esto, mediante charlas y voluntariados con varias organizaciones nacionales e internacionales como Fundación Mujeres por Colombia, WEST (Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology), Junior Achievement of Northern New England (Fundación Junior Achievement del Norte de Nueva Inglaterra), Rotary Club, Women org, entre otras.
