Please join us as The Honorable Lee Rosenthal shares her insights on the latest trends in discovery and how they impact the way cases are litigated. Judge Rosenthal has played an integral role in simplifying and reshaping federal discovery and evidence rules, and she will touch on issues such as:

Larry Stuart will provide historical background about how discovery has evolved to meet the changing needs of the courts and parties using the federal courts to resolve disputes.

The Honorable Lee H. Rosenthal Judge Rosenthal has served on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas since 1992. Before being appointed to the bench, Judge Rosenthal was a partner at Baker & Botts in Houston. In 2007, she was appointed to chair the Judicial Conference Committee on the Rules of Practice and Procedure, which coordinates the work of the Advisory Committees for the Civil, Criminal, Evidence, Appellate, and Bankruptcy Rules. Among the most respected judges in the country, Judge Rosenthal has been instrumental in making the courts more accessible to litigants and their counsel.
