Sunday METALX Hike is one of the longest-running and most prestigious hiking groups in Los Angeles. With over 400 completed Sunday hikes in more than 100 different locations, from epic caves to beautiful waterfalls, we explore the hidden treasures of Los Angeles.

The METALX with WITI (Women in Technology) hike is open to all. Feel free to bring yourself, your family, your spouse, your hiking enthusiast friends (METAL and Non-METAL), prospective members and (sometimes!) your dogs ARE ALL WELCOME!

About the Location: Get to know this 2.5-mile out-around-and-back trail near the Top of Topanga, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 43 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are February through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
