Have you ever wondered where our next generation of inventors, innovators, engineers, software developers, and security analysts is going to come from? The answer to that question is Orlando! At this event, NAF District Coordinator, Shannon Latimer, and her colleagues at Orange County Public Schools, will share details of some of their active STEM programs, the successes they’ve achieved, and how they are changing the lives of the students who participate.

Shannon Latimer is responsible for coordinating a network of education, business, and community leaders who work together to ensure that high school students are college, career, and future ready. She directs events and activities for the Orange County School District's 33 NAF academies and is enthusiastic about the successes they've achieved. She holds a BS in Journalism from The University of Florida and received her MBA from Baylor University. She has a wide variety of interests, and possesses a passion for excellence in all of her endeavors.
