WITI Oregon

Members and non-members are invited to join Women In Technology International (WITI) for its third quarter meeting, featuring local speakers:
· Heike Mayer, Ph.D. candidate in Urban Studies at Portland State University, will discuss how high-technology firms took root and cultivated a thriving industry in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, and what the future holds;
· WITI’s new professional development program, which will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2002, will also be introduced.

The speaker presentations will be followed by time for networking, offering an opportunity to meet other women who consider technology central to their businesses and careers, and learn more about WITI.
