NPR’s Satellite Sister Liz Dolan and Women Who Have ‘Gone Their Own Way'

WITI’s annual professional clothing drive and panel event will highlight women who have "gone their own way" by starting their own business or making a non-traditional career change. The panel discussion will feature Liz Dolan, a former Nike executive who left the corporate world to create and co-host a nationally syndicated radio show on NPR. Jan Robinson, CEO of Teseda will moderate the event, while other panelists include:
• Julie Harrelson, principal of Ruby Communications
• Sharon VanSickle, senior partner and general manager of Fleishman-Hillard Portland/Seattle (formerly KVO Public Relations)
• Patti White, CEO of Inovise Medical

Event Will Also Benefit Women Re-entering the Workforce with Annual Professional Clothing Drive

On-site at the event, WITI Portland will collect “good” reusable women’s professional clothing for donation to the Yolanda House, a YWCA-supported women’s shelter, that assists women entering or re-entering the job market. All types of business attire are needed…clothing, purses, belts, jewelry, brief cases, etc. Susan Bade, director of the Yolanda House will provide a brief introduction and a clothing rack will be set up to collect donated items prior to the start of the panel discussion. Please clean out your closets to help make this year a successful clothing drive!
