Influence Without Authority: Practical Tools For Getting Things Done

Most of us have less formal authority than we need to carry out our responsibilities. Effective, innovative managers and professionals build on existing strengths in order to influence key stakeholders: bosses, peers, associates, customers, suppliers and staff.

In this workshop you will learn high-integrity techniques to:

• communicate and build commitment for your vision
• increase your understanding of your business partners’ needs
• balance advocacy with inquiry as a means of influence
• analyze and leverage existing relationships in order to get things done
• increase your contribution to your organization
• become a positive, powerful advocate for your unit
