Instructor:
Niki Steckler is Associate Professor in the Management in Science and Technology Department at the OGI School of Science and Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University. Steckler?s expertise centers around mental models and influence without authority. Dr. Steckler has worked with organizations including General Electric Co., Goldman Sachs & Co., Harvard Business School, Honeywell Inc., and U. S. West Communications in various executive education and consulting capacities. Her recent National Science Foundation-funded research focused on communication and collaboration across organizational boundaries. The recipient of multiple teaching awards, Dr. Steckler also volunteers with AWSEM (Advocates for Women in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics), a program to help teenage girls learn about careers in science.
