Tara Bucchi

Network Director

Executive Director, Infrastructure Shared Services, CVS Health Tara's career began at Aetna in 2005 as part of the Information Technology Leadership Development Program. Her experience over the past 15 years spans multiple IT disciplines including release management, quality assurance, governance, program delivery, security, and infrastructure.  

Most recently, Tara led the integration with CVS Health for infrastructure; the largest health insurance M&A deal in history. In her current role, she is the head of Infrastructure Shared Services for CVS Health; delivering best-in-class services across the infrastructure organization and IT. This includes driving the strategy for IT service management, ensuring compliance and risk reduction through audit and vulnerability management, mergers & acquisitions, planning, and infrastructure portfolio, finance, and product management. Additionally, Tara leads the overall talent program for the IT organization.

Tara has a strong passion for promoting a positive culture and is a strong advocate for programs that support girls in STEM. She is the chair of Women in Technology at CVS Health, the Hartford network director for Women in Technology International (WITI) and is on the Board of Directors for the Petit Family Foundation. Tara received Bachelors' degrees in both Information Science and Technology and Criminal Justice from the University at Albany in 2004.

Preksha Patel

Corporate Partnerships and Alliances Chair

Preksha Palmer, Web Engineering Manager at Aetna has been in her current position for two years. She manages a team of engineers that support Aetna's web environment. Throughout her career, she has worked in various capacities including Application Development, Infrastructure Engineering and Management.

She is passionate about engaging girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and is a program lead for IT sessions during the YWCA Leadership Program summer sessions at Aetna. She is on the committee for Aetna's Women in Technology group and a Hartford Network Lead for the Women in Technology International organization. When possible Preksha helps volunteer at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp through Aetna's Volunteer organization.

Preksha received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCONN. Takes ballroom dance lessons with her husband and enjoys spending time with her three-year-old daughter.

Lauren Tuppeny

Membership Chair

Lauren is a senior account executive with Service Express, a third-party hardware maintenance company, specializing in server, storage, and network support. In her role, she works closely with IT leaders across various organizations to enhance projects and achieve initiatives.

A large part of her career has included helping other women advance their careers via mentorship and support systems. Most recently, her interest and involvement in IT has expanded her visions for girls and women in STEM. She joined WITI Hartford to help increase local awareness and membership. Her goal is to highlight the benefits of having a network of like-minded individuals focused on continuous learning and development.

Lauren enjoys new challenges and traveling. In her free time, she can be found beachside, poolside or outside with her dog, Spot.

Marianne Caridi

Corporate Sponsorship Chair

Marianne Caridi is an executive recruiter and business development professional with a focus on technology and engineering.

As an Executive Recruiter at MassMutual, Marianne focuses on identifying leadership talent for technology strategic initiatives that include cloud and digital transformations as well as BI, AI, ML, Data Science and Cyber Security. Throughout her career, Marianne has guided and supported young women and those in transition. The goal is that they recognize their strengths and transferrable skills to identify the career path that will help them achieve financial security and find their professional purpose.

As Membership Chair for WITI she has been able to blend all her passions and help to build and support an even larger network of phenomenal women and men.

Marianne holds a Bachelor's Degree from Southern CT State University. When she is not working she volunteers for STEM programs, travels, spends time with friends and family and reads with her fickle feline by her side.

Victoria Ragan

Events Coordinator

Victoria is a senior account manager and solutions management professional at Beacon Hill Technologies where she partners with top Fortune 10 companies to ensure they have the best talent and support on key IT Enterprise projects and initiatives.

Having been exposed to a plethora of technology capacities through select Fortune 50 clients including PMO services, Application Development, Service Assessments, Technology Deployments, Embedded Software Engineering, and Data Center Optimizations, Victoria is able to assess unique environments and propose customized solutions fitting the project scope, budget, culture, and timeline.

Being a passionate promoter of gender equality throughout her life, Victoria has seen firsthand the struggles of women trying to make a name for themselves in technology and STEM. Her energy and positive attitude has helped her break the stigma around women in IT, and she is always pushing to grow her network and connect like-minded individuals to continue moving in the right direction. As the Events Coordinator for WITI, Victoria is able to bring together her passion for IT, organization skills, and love for event planning (and a good party) to help advance the involvement of IT women in the Hartford area.

When Victoria is not working, she can usually be found hiking, on the beach, wine tasting, obsessing over every single dog she comes across, and watching the KC Chiefs or KU Basketball depending on the season!
